Was first introduced to Stanley Clarke in 1975, just as he was wrapping up his time with RTF. The School Days album was an inspiration for me (as a fledgling bass player). I finally saw him live many years later when he toured with Al DiMeola and Jean Luc Ponty. I always felt that Stanley Clarke and Jaco Pastorius were to two primary innovators of their era.

I\'ve enjoyed Mr. Clarke for many years. Return to Forever the band and School Days the album, a couple of favorites. This video is great but only scratches the surface.
